What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Senior Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll be part of a team of 5 Welcome and Service Assistants at Lyveden.
Based at Visitor Reception, you'll likely be the first interaction visitors have with a member of the team and so will be able to offer a warm welcome and fantastic service. You'll also help look after Lyveden by carrying out daily walks of the site.
As part of the Visitor Experience team, you'll help us by introducing first time visitors to our rare Elizabethan survivor and will invite repeat visitors to engage with our stories and our conservation work in new ways upon their return. We believe in the power of a warm welcome and meaningful conversations. Whether it’s offering helpful information, sharing a smile, or simply being present, your contribution helps ensure that every guest leaves with a smile — and a desire to return.
What you'll be doing
Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from assisting at property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.
Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.
