A warm and welcoming family based in Southwest London is looking for a long-term nanny to care for their baby and toddler. The role includes all general nanny duties, such as cooking for the children and assisting with the weaning process, helping them transition from purees to solid foods. They are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and engaging nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and is passionate about supporting their development. Ideally, the candidate will be Spanish-speaking and open to travelling with the family to Europe for 3 to 4 weeks annually. A driver would be a plus, and the nanny should be comfortable being insured to drive the family car. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Duties include:
Having sole charge of the children throughout the day
Creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment in the home
Providing personal care such as changing nappies, preparing bottles, following sleep schedules, and supporting potty training
Supporting the children’s social, emotional, and educational development
Implementing and maintaining consistent daily routines for the children
Engaging the children in stimulating, age-appropriate activities
Taking the children to local playgroups and interactive classes
Arranging and supervising playdates with other children
Carrying out all childcare-related duties
Cooking and preparing nutritious meals for the children
Assisting with the weaning process and helping transition from purees to solid foods
