Join the Northern Premier League at a Pivotal Moment – Be Part of the Game-Changing Team!
Are you passionate about football and ready to play a central role in the growth of one of the country’s most historic and competitive leagues? The Northern Premier League (NPL) is entering an exciting new phase – and we're looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our team as Player Registration & Compliance Officer.
As a key member of our Officer team, you'll be at the heart of League operations, helping to power the day-to-day activity that keeps our clubs moving and matchdays running smoothly. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is far more than an admin role – it's an opportunity to shape how we support clubs across the League and build strong relationships within the football community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be the go-to expert on player registrations, ensuring full compliance with FA rules and helping clubs navigate key processes with confidence. Your daily work will include:
• Communicating with clubs and the FA, responding to registration queries, and processing matchday documentation
• Managing the entire player registration process via FA systems like iFAS
• Compiling and distributing fixtures – ensuring clubs and fans get the info they need
• Monitoring compliance with Stadium Accreditation and club licensing requirements
• Overseeing important admin tasks such as Form D, League membership forms, and Financial Reporting Initiative returns
What We’re Looking For:
We need someone who’s confident, professional, and ready to handle the pressures of non-league football. You'll bring:
• A strong working knowledge of League and FA rules (especially those related to player registrations)
• Proven ability using FA digital systems – including iFAS
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills, plus confidence using Google Maps
• A blend of empathy and authority – you’ll support club staff while upholding rules with consistency and fairness
• Flexibility – this is not a 9-to-5 job. Some evening and weekend work will be necessary
Other Essentials:
• The role is home-based but will require travel to League meetings and events
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
Please apply with your up to date C.V. & covering letter to matt@winnerrecruitment.co.uk detailing your relevant experience & the attributes and qualities that you feel you can offer. (Closing date for the role is 11th June)
