Are you passionate about helping young people thrive?
A forward-thinking secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Youth Mentor to join its supportive team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in youth work, education, or SEN support who is ready to make a meaningful impact. The role offers a temp-to-perm pathway, with the option to start immediately or in September 2025.

As a SEN Youth Mentor, you will provide vital support to students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and general learning difficulties. Working closely with teaching staff and the SEN team, you'll play a key part in helping students access learning, manage their emotions, and build essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions

Assist in implementing and reviewing EHCPs and support plans

Previous experience supporting young people with SEN, either in schools or youth settings
