Start Date: Sep 2025
Closing Date: Friday 20th June 2025
Interviews: Tuesday 24th June 2025

At Skills Centre Plus, our mission is simple: to change lives and make a difference. We're proud to provide a supportive,
inspiring environment for young people aged 16 and over who need a different kind of educational setting—one that meets their
needs, recognises their potential, and helps them thrive.

We're currently looking for a Multi-Skills Workshop Tutor to join our friendly and passionate team.

About the Role

You’ll be delivering practical, hands-on learning across a range of vocational areas including for a variety of awarding bodies
e.g. SEG/ NOCN/ NCFE:

* Motor Vehicles
* Construction Trades (bricklaying, plastering, painting & decorating, Joinery)
* Welding

Our learners all have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and some may display challenging behaviours. We're looking for
someone who is patient, adaptable, and genuinely cares about helping young people succeed—especially those who may not have found
success in traditional educational settings.

This is a varied and rewarding role within our Post-16 specialist provision setting, and flexibility is key. You’ll need to be
comfortable with timetable changes and happy to support in other curriculum areas when needed.

What We’re Looking For

* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 3 Diploma in Education and Training)
* Previous experience in one or more of the above trade areas
* Someone with a full driving license
* A positive, supportive attitude and a calm approach to behaviour
* A calm and supportive approach to working with young people
* A flexible, adaptable mindset and willingness to support across subjects and curriculum areas
* Previous experience working with young people with SEN is desirable, but not essential—we welcome the right person with the
right heart and core values.

Why Join Us?

* Help shape lives and futures for young people who need you
* Support learners in achieving real qualifications and personal milestones
* Be part of a close-knit, supportive team where your input is valued
* Opportunities for training and development
* A role full of variety, creativity, and real impact where no two days are the same
