Summary

About the role

We are currently recruiting an Analytics Manager to work within our Business Support function, focussing on improving our distribution operations, ensuring we always serve customers, communities and the planet a little better every day.

You will demonstrate curiosity by paying attention to detail, finding opportunities, and tracking meaningful measures. Engaging with partners you will drive and measure improvements of transformation projects and support driving our data strategy forward by growing visibility and working with our technology teams to build new data models.

You will be responsible for

  • Actively contributing to the hands-on delivery of data solutions, including building dashboards, writing sophisticated SQL queries, and crafting data models
  • Lead sophisticated projects end to end from inception to delivery
  • Measurement of project success and Identification of new opportunities to drive improvements
  • Work closely with industrial engineers and project managers to identify efficiency improvements in the current operation
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems and dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
  • Anticipate future demands related to data and technology and design/implement solutions that meet these needs
  • Capture and build requirements from end users, translating into technical solutions
  • Provide data to support projects to agreed timelines
  • Deliver clear and actionable insights
  • Ensure best practice within our data team, challenging the norm and mentoring other analysts
  • Improve data quality and identifying further data collection opportunities

You will need

  • Project Management experience
  • Able to write SQL queries
  • Advanced Excel user including VBA
  • Experience working with and crafting databases and dashboards using all relevant data to advise decisions
  • Domain expert
  • Partner engagement & influencing
  • Developing and working to a plan
