Role Overview
This is a varied and purpose-driven role, ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, takes initiative, and wants to make a difference. The Project Manager will plan and deliver a range of projects from initiation to completion, contributing to events, digital resources, and stakeholder engagement activities. The postholder will work with internal colleagues and external clients to ensure the effective and timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and lead projects within scope, time, and budget
Deliver outputs including websites, conferences, and educational resources
Monitor progress, update documentation, and manage risk
Support evaluation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
Contribute to budget tracking, scheduling, and resource planning
Represent SDSA’s values and support wider organisational development
Person Specification
Essential:
Experience of project work and a track record of drive and ambition
Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
Alignment with SDSA’s values: integrity, resilience, collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking
Desirable:
Experience in education, children’s services, or not-for-profit sectors
Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, or Power BI
Experience supporting events or using monitoring and evaluation tools
