Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Leakage Delivery Team. Our teams are repairing leaks within the Lancashire area in a timely and safe manner to reduce the leakage in the area
As the Site Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage site teams Report to the Operations manager – Set targets for day/week that are clearly understood by the team.
- Plan for contingency / worse case scenarios
- Ensure all sites are compliant with company SHEQ policy and procedure and drive a strong Health & Safety and quality focus culture.
- Ensure SHEQ documentation is produced timeously, maintained, and briefed to the workforce.
- Co-ordinate resources to ensure delivery of required daily productivity.
- Support SHEQ in toolbox talks, QA memos, liaise with client and highways.
- Responsible to ensure van audits, onsite audits are completed with every team (1 per month)
- Monitor the quality performance of works (clegg testing) and adherence to Customer and HAUC Specifications.
- Subject matter expert for any onsite technical issues.
- Supervision of onsite operational teams to avoid FPNs or S74 fines.
- Coordinate all Highway activities with local authorities and back-office staff ensuring appropriate Notices and traffic management are in place.
- Ensure Operatives are trained and competent and qualifications kept up to date.
- Carry out Site Inductions / Team Meetings (Standdowns)
- Maintain productivity trackers and site statistics.
- Coordination of procurement with supply chain
- Ensure a positive approach to dealing with members of the public.
What you’ll bring
Experience in Reinstatement Civils or Utilities?
Able to manage both sub contractors and DLO
SSSTS or equivalent
Water hygiene and SHEA water
Have you got comprehensive IT abilities including MS Suite?
Experience of working and building relationships with Local Authorities?
Knowledge of working within the water Industry
Are you a NRSWA qualified Supervisor ?
UK Driving License
