We're recruiting dedicated school caretakers for a variety of primary and secondary schools across Preston. These roles are essential to the day-to-day running of the school - from safety and security to simple maintenance and creating a welcoming environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Opening and locking the school each day

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the premises

  • Handling minor repairs or reporting larger maintenance issues

  • Being a friendly point of contact for staff, students, and visitors

  • Taking pride in supporting the smooth running of school life

Available Roles:

  • Full-time and part-time hours

  • Opportunities across primary and secondary schools in Preston

  • Immediate and September start dates available

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a school caretaker or site supervisor (essential)

  • Background in a school or educational setting (desirable)

  • A proactive, flexible approach to day-to-day tasks

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service - or willingness to apply (we can assist)
