Hours: 37.5 PW Monday- Friday 9am till 5pm

P4 are working with a charity that is well established and on the lookout for a community Recovery Worker. They specialises in mental health, alcohol, drugs, and related areas. The services are evidence-based, high-quality, and tailored to the needs of the individuals we support. About the Service
This is a community-based mental health service. We support individuals aged 18+ with mental health challenges by helping them develop coping strategies, improve their wellbeing, build social networks, and access local resources. We also assist with housing and benefits-related issues.

• Help people achieve their life goals.
• Contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet service goals.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting People Who Use Our Services:
• Help individuals manage and improve their mental and physical health.
• Support development of life skills such as budgeting, tenancy sustainment, and accessing education or employment.
• Encourage independence and empowerment through person-centred support.
Maintaining a Safe Environment:
• Monitor the wellbeing of residents.
• Ensure legal and safety standards are met.
• Provide a respectful and secure environment.
Keyworking Duties:
• Manage a caseload of individuals.
• Develop and review personalised support plans based on each person’s goals and aspirations.
• Deliver key work sessions and complete related documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments in line with policy.
• Refer individuals to other services when needed.
Managing Workload:
• Plan and carry out your responsibilities effectively.
• Keep accurate, timely records using our database.
• Build relationships with external partners such as mental health teams and carers.
• Take care of your own wellbeing through regular check-ins with your manager and team.
• Stay informed about organisational updates.

Qualifications:
• No formal qualifications are required for this role.
Essential Skills:
• Strong communication and listening abilities.
• Compassionate and supportive approach.
• Motivation and advocacy for service users.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good record-keeping and organisational skills.
• Capable of working under pressure and managing time effectively.
• Strong IT skills (Word, email, databases).
• Flexibility in working hours and ability to participate in a 24/7 shift rota, including on-call duties and occasional overnight stays.
• Commitment to self-development and professional integrity.
Experience:
• No prior experience is specifically required, but relevant skills and values are essential.
