Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - PMLD School
Location: Lambeth, South London

Pay Rate: £95 - £115 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term | Term Time Only

Remedy Education is working in partnership with an outstanding PMLD school in Lambeth, and we're seeking a caring, committed, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The school caters to children and young people aged 3-19 who have complex physical and learning needs, including sensory impairments and medical conditions.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant in this specialist setting, you will:

Support pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities, often on a 1:1 or small group basis

Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and changing (training provided)

Use specialist strategies and resources such as sensory integration, Makaton, PECS, and visual timetables

Work collaboratively with class teachers, therapists, and support staff

Experience working in a PMLD or complex needs setting (mainstream SEN experience also considered)
