You will:
• support and enhance the provision of psychologically-informed care of clients within Via’s Greenwich service, particularly with those who are experiencing homelessness, criminality, and those most disaffected.
• work directly with individuals and groups who are seeking support for substance use, providing flexible delivery of psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a registered psychologist.
• assist in clinically related administration, development and implementation of audit/research/service development projects, teaching and other project work.
• join a multi-disciplinary team made up of psychology, recovery workers, nurses, psychiatry, and peer mentors.
The Service
Via offers community and residential services for substance use. We nurture new ideas, put co-production at the heart of what we do, and provide practitioners with the support to explore and grow. Within this role, you will work directly with individuals and groups, flexibly delivering psychological support that responds to the context of people’s lives and works with the social determinants of health.
Launched in 2020, Via Greenwich is a fully-integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub in Woolwich.
