Weare looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join our team at Lantern Lane Primary and Nursery School. We are very proud of the consistently good outcomes for our pupils and their excellent behaviour and attitude to learning. Our links with parents & carers, as well as the local community, are a real strength.

We know that happy and motivated staff are essential to a successful school. That’s why we are always looking at ways of ensuring staff workload is manageable and provide a range of professional development opportunities. We’d like to think we all have a pretty good sense of humour too!

We need teachers who:

- Have high expectations for themselves, colleagues and all children

- Are committed to providing high quality teaching and learning experiences for all

- Are dedicated to continued professional development

Please complete the application form attached, and return to us along with a covering letter outlining your experience and suitability for the position. Please submit your application via e-mail to office@lanternlane.notts.sch.uk by 9.00am Monday 16 June 2025. Completed application forms will be passed to the recruitment panel for shortlisting and will be reviewed against the person specification detailed in the advert. Applications will be assessed upon receipt and we reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date. An early application is therefore strongly advised.

We warmly welcome visits to the school from prospective applicants, with appointments available at 4.00pm Thursday 12 June and 10.30am Friday 13 June 2025.

Please e-mail or telephone the school office to book your place.
