Driver: Yes, a driver with their own car is required
Summary:
This is a lovely Housekeeper Nanny role with a kind and welcoming family based in Claygate, Surrey, caring for their daughter, aged 9, and supporting the smooth running of their household. Their teenage son (17) is independent and does not require care.
The position is a 65/35 split, with a strong emphasis on housekeeping, alongside childcare in the afternoons. The family is looking for someone to work Monday to Thursday, ideally from 12/1pm to 7pm, with additional hours available in the school holidays if desired.
Key responsibilities include:
• Housekeeping duties such as family ironing, laundry, changing beds/towels, and keeping the home clean and tidy
• Preparing light family meals (2–3 times per week)

• Supporting with homework, particularly basic maths and English
• Managing the dishwasher and ensuring surfaces are clean and clutter-free
The family home is a spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom property with a swimming pool. A weekly cleaner and gardener are already employed. The parents work partly from home (2–3 days per week) and are looking for someone proactive, trustworthy, and understands how to run a household with minimal instruction.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a confident driver with their own car
• Be a self-starter, showing initiative and common sense
• Be kind, calm, and considerate, especially when supporting their daughter with homework
• Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
This is a permanent, part-time, daily role that would suit someone who enjoys a varied position and values being part of a warm and respectful family environment. The family are happy to offer £19 gross per hour, along with paid holiday
They are hoping to find a practical and nurturing person, a modern-day Mary Poppins, to join their family as soon as possible.
HomeOrganisers Ltd acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent position. Along with your CV, you must also have an up-to-date DBS and Paediatric First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain, along with a minimum of 2 last/current employer professional referees that are immediately contactable.
