A Live in Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family based in Cobham, Surrey to assist them in looking after their toddler and three school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. They are looking for someone highly organised, kind, and tidy, with the ability to manage both childcare and housekeeping duties. While the role will primarily focus on housekeeping, some childcare responsibilities will include assisting the children in getting ready for school. Minimal cooking is required, but the candidate should be able to help with meal preparation and table setting. Someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role since the family have two dogs at home. It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them for 4 to 5 weeks per year when they travel to Spain.
Someone who could speak Spanish or Italian languages would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm with 2-hour break in the afternoon, approximately 60 hours per week
Accommodation: Own bedroom on the third floor, shared bathroom with guest room
Duties include:
Assisting the children in getting ready for school
Providing support with after-school homework
Escorting the children to extracurricular activities
Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
Performing routine floor cleaning, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Ensuring the kitchen area is clean and well-maintained
Washing, drying, and organising clothes and linens
Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
Making beds and changing linens as needed
Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
The family is seeking someone who can start immediately.
