A wonderful family based in Cobham, Surrey is looking for a Full time Nanny-Housekeeper to assist them in looking after their school-aged child while maintaining the cleanliness of their property. This is a full-time position with a strong emphasis on childcare, best suited to someone who is warm, engaging, and confident woking both independently and collaboratively with parents. The ideal candidate will provide a stable and nurturing environment for the child, especially during periods when mum is travelling for work, which will require flexibility, including proxy parenting and overnight care. The family highly values reliability, discretion, and a genuine passion for childcare. They are also open to hiring Live in Nanny-Housekeeper candidates.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule. The role needs flexibility to work for some proxy parenting and overnights are essential.
Duties include:
ironing
laundry
caring for important items
hoovering
mopping floors
cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms
assisting with homework
create fun and interactive ways to develop the child’s academic skills
prepare meals for the child
