At Noor ul Islam Pre-school we are passionate about ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn and succeed whilst having fun! We value adults who share the same passion and are committed to advocate for each child to help give them the best start in life.
We are seeking to recruit a skilled and knowledgeable early years practitioner with
broad SEND experience ranging from early identification through to complex needs.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships within our
team. Your role will be to advise and support them to offer inclusive and challenging
EYFS teaching and learning experiences to 3- and 4-year-olds with an identified level of SEND.
You will also be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with
parents and supporting them through the SEND journey.
The post holder will:
- Be aware of the setting’s responsibilities according to the SEND code of
practice and ensure these are incorporated in the daily practice
- Follow the graduated approach for early identification and plan and
implement interventions and strategies to improve children’s outcomes
- Liaise with parents and external agencies
- Hold transition meetings with schools and agree arrangements for a smooth
transition

agree to rigorous background checks before an appointment is made. The post
holder will be on the DBS update system or be willing to undergo a DBS check. The post holder will support the setting’s Safeguarding and Inclusion Policies and
Procedures.
The post holder must be interested in working in an Islamic environment and
upholding our Islamic ethos.
