Now, we are seeking a passionate, experienced, and visionary SENDCO to lead our provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the Role
- You will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experiences and outcomes for our SEND students, ensuring that every young person is supported to reach their potential. Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, families, and external agencies, you will:
- Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the academy
- Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate interventions and personalised support plans
- Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and all statutory requirements
- Provide professional guidance and CPD for staff on inclusive teaching
- Champion student voice and advocate for their needs within the school community
Were Looking For
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- National Award for SEN Coordination
- Proven experience in SEND leadership and effective provision
- A deep understanding of inclusive education and differentiated practice
- Strong interpersonal skills and a values-driven approach
