A high profile role where you’ll further develop a key customer account.
As NPD Project Manager here, you’ll be a key point of contact for a major customer. Your priority will be to further develop the relationship and grow market share across the UK and Europe.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Development Technologist looking to gain a higher profile, work on juicy projects and further develop their career. You’ll have variety each day with international travel and projects to land in different regions, mainly European focused.
This is a newly created role as part of a successful and long-standing Food Development team. They have a great track record in developing brilliant, innovative new products for customers globally. They are passionate about what they do, have high-quality standards for their products, and for customer service too.
You’ll ensure regular customer communication and manage expectations for each project. You’ll coordinate development projects working with a cross-functional team, ensuring they meet all timelines through the gate process. You’ll be involved from the brief stage, through recipe development to trials.
This will involve supporting on factory trials at sites in the UK and Europe.
You’ll have responsibility for ensuring products meet the customer’s high-quality standards, using approved materials and processes.
Through exceeding expected service levels and regular performance reviews, the aim is to become the trusted and valued supplier to this key customer.
What you’ll need to succeed here is a solid track record in landing NPD projects, taking projects from concept to launch. You’ll have a Food Science or related degree with experience in recipe development and factory trials.
