Thank you for considering joining our team. We are recruiting a Band 5 Project Support Officer on a fixed term contract until end March 2026. This full-time role is part of a small friendly team working on the Hertfordshire-wide Autism and ADHD Transformation Programme. The ambition of this Programme is to develop a needs-led Hertfordshire Model, that provides timely, tailored and appropriate diagnostic and support services to children and young people (CYP) suspected as being autistic and/or living with ADHD and their families. The aim of the programme is support CYP to have good health, well-being and attainment as they grow into adulthood.

We need an enthusiastic and proactive candidate to support this work. Ideally, you are someone who has some knowledge and / or experience of services for neurodivergent CYP in Hertfordshire but most importantly you are enthusiastic and willing to learn. You will need to be able to hit the ground running as this is a complex programme working across many different organisational boundaries. The role will work closely with the Programme and Project Managers to support a range of projects and to provide fantastic project support to the team. You will need to be comfortable working with a range of different people including clinicians, senior leaders, children and young people and parent / carers across several organisations.
The postholder will need to be able to work on multiple projects at one time and have the ability to multitask. We very much welcome candidates who can use their own creativity and ingenuity to contribute their ideas, whilst also having fantastic organisation and project support skills.
The post holder will support the monitoring of various projects, collating and presenting information on the delivery of projects whilst working closely with Programme and Project Managers to coordinate key meetings including agenda planning, minute taking and action tracking. The post holder will develop, maintain and monitorprojectplansasappropriateand supportthecoordinationofspecificprojectsasdelegatedbytheProgramme and / or Project Manager.

The post holder will be required to travel to and work across multiple sites including Howard Court, Welwyn Garden City and The Colonnades, Hatfield, whilst also being able to work from home (if desired).
