Summary

Housing Litigation Lawyer (Hybrid) needed in Westminster, £55ph - Reference: RQ1538737

You will be responsible for managing a busy caseload of housing litigation matters, including:

  • Possession proceedings
  • Anti-social behaviour (ASB) injunctions
  • Disrepair claims
  • Tenancy-related advice
  • Succession and other housing law matters

You will report to the Principal Lawyer and work closely with colleagues across Legal Services and Housing teams.

The role is hybrid, with a mix of remote and in-office work based in Westminster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take over and manage a live caseload of 50 complex housing litigation matters
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to internal clients
  • Represent the council in court proceedings and liaise with counsel where necessary
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence
  • Respond to new instructions efficiently and support the wider team during high-demand periods

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
