• About you

Dynamic and motivational, you will be supporting the Director of Facilities & Estates drive strategy, reviewing, and setting standards in estates operational delivery and ensuring that outcomes are consistent and compliant. You will be responsible for the management of overall service delivery to city of London academies and holding service providers accountable. Duties will include maintenance of all school buildings and grounds, indirectly overseeing a team of site personnel and ensuring the facilities are safe, functional, and conducive to learning. You will need a relevant qualification in FM or Estates on Building Discipline or have a significant level of experience of monitoring and managing SLAs/KPIs.

• About the Role

The purpose of this newly created role is operational service delivery within facilities and estate. The main responsibility is to oversee the delivery of various services and facilities, including cleaning, M&E, building fabric, and health & safety. By building strong relationships with senior leaders within the trust and academies, you will constantly strive to improve service quality and identify opportunities for cost efficiency, exercise sound commercial judgment and effectively track and manage all services within agreed budgets and SLAs/KPIs. You will be responsible for nurturing a skilled team, supporting their development and growth. Through effective collaboration you are expected to provide expert advice and aligning maintenance operations with strategic goals. You will play a key role in raising the standards for service delivery and achieving organisational excellence.
