The Role – Physics Teacher

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent Physics Teacher role
Salary: MPS/UPS – Based on experience
Location: Birmingham – Excellent transport links and vibrant local community
Key Stages: KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)

Physics Teacher – Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical Physics lessons across KS3–KS4 (and potentially KS5)
• Foster a passion for science through real-world applications and experiments
• Monitor and support student progress through assessments and feedback
• Contribute to a dynamic curriculum and science department initiatives
• Promote STEM pathways and wider scientific curiosity
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and drive achievement

Physics Teacher – What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – or on track to qualify by Summer 2025
• A degree in Physics or a closely related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Physics
• Effective communication, planning, and classroom management skills
• A drive for continuous improvement and commitment to student success
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
