This full-time, long-term Graduate Physics Teaching Assistantrole is perfect for a graduate looking to step into education and support young learners in developing critical thinking and scientific curiosity.

Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 physics lessons
• Assisting with lesson preparation, experiments, and demonstrations
• Providing 1:1 and small group academic support to boost understanding and engagement
• Encouraging problem-solving, enquiry-based learning, and resilience in science
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive, curious learning environment
• Contributing to STEM clubs, science fairs, and enrichment activities
• Collaborating with teachers to refine and deliver exciting lesson content

Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or a related subject
• A passion for science education and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Any previous experience working with young people is a bonus
• Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
• A calm, curious, and patient approach to learning support
