Here at Hays, we are working with a fantastic primary school based in the Atherton area who are looking to recruit a 1:1 teaching assistant to work with a child in EYFS. This is a school that is committed to ensuring that every child achieves their full potential in a happy, safe, caring environment. This is a well-respected primary school in the area, and they are now looking for a committed individual to join their team and to ensure they are promoting the school values with the children.
This role will start in September and will continue for the full academic year.
Your new role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your job will be to enhance and enrich the learning of your 1:1 pupil and keep them focused on their learning. The child does have an EHCP so you will be required to follow this, and you will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the pupils and the school.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children and, ideally, previous experience supporting SEN children. You should feel confident working with children in a 1:1 setting as well as be friendly and enthusiastic. You will need to be available to start in September.
