An Outstanding-rated primary school in Bordesley Green is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. This role focuses on delivering high-quality intervention support to small groups of pupils, helping them make progress in Maths and English.

Your Role:

• Support targeted intervention groups in Maths and English across KS2

  
  

• Assist pupils in closing gaps in learning and building confidence

  
  

• Work collaboratively with class teachers and the SENCO to plan and deliver tailored support

  
  

• Provide clear and constructive feedback to pupils and staff

  
  

• Support the inclusive ethos of the school, adapting support to meet a range of needs

  
  ✅ Person Specification:

  The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working in KS2, ideally with intervention groups or SEN support

    
    

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)

    
    

  • Be confident supporting pupils in core subjects (Maths and English)

    
    

  • Be patient, proactive, and sensitive to individual learning needs

    
    

  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusive education and diverse learning communities

    
    

  • Be ready to contribute to a vibrant, collaborative school culture
