We are looking for an inspirational and talented colleague to join the Education team at Oxford Brookes. If you have the ambition, ability, and passion to make a difference through your teaching and research, then join us at one of the UK’s leading modern universities. We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Inclusive Education who is able to teach across our suite of education courses, with a particular focus on effective pedagogies to support sensitive and inclusive practices.

As a Lecturer you will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate modules and contribute to the development and sustainability of our programme portfolio. This will include but is not limited to the BA Education Studies and MA in Education. You will be able and willing to apply your expertise in inclusive and alternative education and lead modules on a variety of topics, demonstrating your expertise in helping individuals to meet their full potential and overcoming barriers to learning. You will understand what it means to deliver an outstanding learning experience for a diverse student body, with experience commensurate with the post and be confident operating in virtual and blended learning environments.

Please note that this post is 0.8 FTE for a fixed-term period to 31st August 2027.

We believe in the transformative power of our disciplines and are committed to working with a range of stakeholders to strengthen our engagement with people across our local and global communities. In particular, our strong links with educational networks shape the teaching we provide to our students.
