A personal assistant is needed for a fifteen-year-old autistic girl with ADHD who lives near Helston.
She is sociable and has a good sense of humour. She is looking for someone with whom she can build a positive relationship and receive 1:1 support in the local community.
She loves horses, horse-riding, farming and tractors. When involved in the things she loves, she is extremely dedicated and she would love to work on a farm. Her other interests include baking and shopping.
The rate of pay starts at £12.60 per hour and will increase for the right candidate, depending on their skills and experience.
Four hours per week are available, and this is flexible. Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help a young person grow, gain independence, and make a meaningful difference in their life.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people is essential. A full driving licence is desirable.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
