Crynodeb
At the discretion of a Registered Clinician participate fully in the delivery of planned care. Provide information to enable effectiveness of care to be evaluated and records maintained. Involve patients and carers/relatives in the delivery of care Provide reassurance, support to patients, family and carers Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure patient needs are met. Establish and maintain effective communication with patients and carers/relatives Recognise and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations General observations such as blood pressure, pulse, urinalysis Setting up clinic equipment Undertake venepuncture as directed by the RN Administrative Provide and receive information verbally, in writing or electronically to inform work colleagues, patients, clients, carers, the public/external contacts. Dealing with anxious patients and families. Encounters language and cultural challenges Demonstrate a competent level of inter-personal skills when providing information of a non-clinical nature to staff, clients, carers, public/external agencies, maintaining the Trust standards of customer service.
