4 Support Workers are required to provide personal and practical assistance, to enable a disabled young person to live an independent personal and social life in the community.
• 4 hours per week working 2:1,
• Rate of pay: £12.60 per hour,
• Location: Orford area of Warrington
• Driving license is essential
4 posts for 4 hours per week each, working 2:1
Job Description
We are looking for 4 Personal Assistants on a 2:1 for a 18-year-old boy who has some challenging behaviour. 4 hours per week on alternative Saturdays, a vehicle can be provided for outings so a clean driving license is essential.
Time to be arranged with the family.
We would prefer someone with previous experience in working with a person with Autism and profound deafness, preferably with some knowledge or experience of using Makaton, BSL or picture exchange.
He also likes a lot of physical activities like climbing, swimming, walking, bowling, velocity, and trampolining. He has no idea of danger or road safety.
