Primary Teaching Experience
Experience of working in EYFS
Ability to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
Demonstrate excellent subject and curriculum knowledge
Plan and teach well- structured lessons
Promote a love of learning and children’s intellectual curiosity
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Early Years provision
Ensure that learning expectations and activities are matched closely to abilities and needs of all pupils
Make use of formative and summative assessment to secure pupils’ progress
Give pupils regular feedback, both orally and through accurate marking, and encourage pupils to respond to the feedback
Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
Develop effective professional relationships with colleagues, knowing how and when to draw on and deliver advice and specialist support
Communicate effectively with parents with regard to pupils’ achievement, provision and well-being
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to develop positive relationships and model appropriate behaviours
Self-confidence and presence
Commitment to working collaboratively in a team
Positivity and drive for improvement
