TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Derby based SEND school who are looking to secure a SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teacher from February onwards. The SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities will be teaching classes of 4-11 pupils of mixed age grouped on ability and needs.
The right SEND Techer / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teacher must have experience working with SEND pupils and have the ability to teach flexibly with active differentiation between pupil ability. Excellent classroom management and previous experience in a SEND school or SEND provision is required of the right SEND Teacher / Special Educational needs and Disabilities Teacher.
The school has an excellent reputation and is a great place to work; the staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive of one another.
Due to the location of the school, a full and clean UK drivers licence and access to a car, is required.
The ideal SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities teacher will have:
• The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons
• Positive approach to teaching
• The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils
• Fantastic classroom management
