Dunkirk Primary School is proud to be part of Nottingham City Schools Trust. We currently have over 390 pupils on roll including our Nursery and were described as being a ‘beautifully diverse’ school in our latest Ofsted report (June 2024).
Are you interested in being part of a team that is committed to ensuring the best outcomes for children? Dunkirk Primary School is looking for a team player that will contribute to the whole school’s administrative and support services and be the first point of contact for our parents and visitors. We are looking for a permanent level 2 administrative assistant from September 2025 to work 37 hours a week 8am – 4pm term time only.
Responsibilities are varied; however good literacy, numeracy and organisational skills are required. It is also important to maintain confidentiality at all times. Effective communication skills to work with our staff, families and other agencies is desirable. School experience of school standard computer hardware packages, Arbor plus Microsoft packages are desirable yet not essential as training will be provided.
Key duties:
Arbor pupil admin and management of registers
Attendance calls/emails
Reception and telephone duties
Ensuring all visitors are warmly welcomed
Maintain stock and supplies – paper/fruit etc
General administrative duties
Maintain the school’s website
Working across both campus offices
