Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in government contracts to drive growth and strategy. You will be key in expanding our presence in Local and Central Government accounts, defining and delivering complex digital transformations, and supporting our bid/tender processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement business development strategies to expand government sector engagement.
Act as a strategic partner for new and existing clients, advising on Portfolio, Digital Delivery, and DevOps.
Collaborate closely with Delivery teams, ensuring successful project execution.
Contribute to internal initiatives, supporting business innovation and operational improvements.
Lead marketing strategy execution, embedding it within our business development pipeline.
Work with Bid Factory management, assisting with bids/tenders and ensuring suc-cessful submissions.
Develop B2B leads, moving from enquiries to acquisition, leveraging multiple channels.
Promote the company’s brand, services, solutions, and capabilities across the public and private sectors.
Provide strategic insights to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), delivering data-driven trends and analysis.
Attend and arrange local/national/international events and roundtables for net-working and business growth.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring responsiveness to requests and resolution of issues.
Required Experience & Skills:

5+ years of experience in technical sales and account management.
Proven track record in government contracts and public sector engagement.
Deep understanding of digital services and agile delivery methodologies.
Strong B2B lead generation expertise, with experience in bid/tender processes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, events, and networking.
