At Epsom and St Helier we pride ourselves in offering flexible working arrangements, a robust in service training package and a positive working culture. Our antenatal clinic midwives provide an excellent standard of midwifery care in the clinic setting. They will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of midwifery care and will supervise other midwives, preceptors, maternity assistants and students as necessary.
Role will include:
• Assessing, planning and implementing care plans in partnership with women and their families and the wider healthcare team.
• Monitoring and evaluating plan of care, escalate any deviations from the norm to the MDT
• Providing care in antenatal clinics in the hospital clinic environment
• Within limitations of service, strive for continuity and promote informed client choice
We are seeking experienced midwives with a great team ethic and willingness to provide women/person-centered antenatal care.
ESTH is a family of nearly 8000 colleagues, serving a population of over 490,000 people in south west London and north east Surrey. Nearly 900,000 patients come to our hospitals for treatment every year. We serve an area that is rich in diversity, with a mix of urban and rural areas, and differing levels of quality of life. As teaching hospitals working alongside our partnered universities, we play a vital role in the education and development of midwives, doctors and other health professionals. Benefits to working for ESTH are vast, including career development, community, staff benefits, staff wellbeing services, transportation incentives, on-site nursery (STH) and our accredited Simulation Centre.
