We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operational Technician (Grade 5) to join our dynamic team. As an Operational Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring equipment operations, conducting routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will collaborate closely with engineers and other operational staff to implement improvements and innovations that enhance productivity and quality. Responsibilities
Monitor the operation of equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on production equipment to prevent downtime.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with relevant personnel.
Document and report operational data, including production metrics, equipment performance, and maintenance activities.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to test new equipment and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operational or technical role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with equipment maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime as needed.
