Join a Supportive and Inclusive School - SEN Teaching Assistant Needed
Inspire EHC is working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Great Bookham, Surrey, to recruit passionate SEN Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for psychology graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or individuals seeking a rewarding career change.
- Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Great Bookham, Surrey
- Salary: £84.05 - £90 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Contract Type: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm
- Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
- Start Date: ASAP
You will be providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Your role will help students build confidence, access learning, and progress academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication challenges
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Assist with creating engaging and inclusive classroom resources
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, participation, and behaviour
