Crynodeb
Newstaff Employment is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a successful company based in Harrow, North London.
This is a temp to perm role.
Must have a FLT Counterbalance license.
You will be covering all general daily warehouse operative activities such as receiving, storging and dispatching products.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and the Warehouse Manager.
Skills Required:
• Previous warehouse operative experience
• A fork lift truck licence is required (Counterbalance)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be availabe immediately as the role is temp to perm
Responsibilities to include:
• Receiving the stock and overseeing the offloading of various containers containing stock and custom items
• Preparing all outgoing orders on time
• The safe operation of the fork-lift and other manual handling equipment
• Dealing with general warehouse admin
• Perform random stock checks as requested by operations / accounts.
• Maintenance and presentation of warehouse and the surrounding areas..
• Responsible for first aid equipment within the warehouses.
• Report issues concerning site security, cleaning, and pest control
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4.30 pm with half an hour lunchbreak
Pay rate: £12.75 per hour
