Crynodeb
Newstaff Employment is recruiting for a Senior Warehouse Operative to join a successful and progressive company based in Harrow, North London.
This is a temp to perm role and will involve overseeing the daily activities of two warehouses with main responsibilities related to the receipt, storage and dispatch of products.
Must have a Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance license.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and the Warehouse Manager.
This is a standalone role.
Skills Required:
• A fork lift truck licence is required (Counterbalance)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and willing to take on responsibility
The Role:
• Preparing all outgoing orders on time
• The safe operation of the fork-lift and other manual handling equipment
• Dealing with general warehouse admin
• Perform random stock checks as requested by operations / accounts.
• Maintenance and presentation of warehouse and the surrounding areas..
• Responsible for first aid equipment within the warehouses.
• Report issues concerning site security, cleaning, and pest control

Monday to Friday 8 am to 4.30 pm with half an hour lunchbreak
Salary: Circa £28,000 pa depending on experience
