We are looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join our clients successful and growing property management company.
As a Service Charge Accountant, you will be a key member of the Finance team and be responsible for co-ordinating the production of budgets, year-end accounts and reports. Joining a friendly successful team who are focussed on delivering an excellent and personal service to all customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To respond to phone calls, emails regarding supplier invoices and service charge queries.
• Database management
• To assist with general office administration – telephone cover etc
• To register invoices to the property management database
• Liaison with Property Managers
• Arrears administration
• Preparation of annual budget templates
• Assisting with the preparation of annual service charge accounts
• Liaison with auditors
• Producing periodic service charge & ground rent invoices
• Supplier Liaison
• To help prepare Property Management reports for clients and internal meetings.
• To attend regular monthly staff and inter-departmental meetings.
• To attend training courses where appropriate.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Experience in a Service Charge environment preferred but not essential
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence in use of Microsoft packages
• A good level of numeracy
• Ability to plan and manage priorities
• Ability to respond quickly, effectively and flexibly
• Able to work within a team and on own initiative
• Experience of working in a Property Management/Lettings environment (not essential)
