We have an exciting opportunity for a support worker to join our new supported living service for individuals with Autism, mental Health, learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviour.
We are looking for kind genuine, passionate, and caring people who can lead by example and provide high-quality person-centred care in a supported living environment.
We provide an excellent training programme for all new starters, which entails 4 days of face-to-face induction for you to gain your care certificate.
It very important that we support individuals to retain as much of their independence as possible, care is about providing much more than physical needs, it is about the social and emotional support you will be providing by building up a strong and healthy bond with the service users and showing them and others involved in their care that you truly care about them and their lives.
The role involves working with individuals, who can display behaviour that challenges, and have complex needs, You will be required to support them and undertake daily living activities, access the community and to live an enjoyable, independent life. You will do this by encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves in order to develop and maintain their independence and physical ability. Whilst also ensuring a healthy, safe and clean environment in their home and encouraging their involvement in achieving this.
As a Support Worker you will provide high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the organisation’s policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will need at least a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the UK, supporting individuals with complex needs and Behaviour that challenge.

Level 2 or above in a Health and Social care setting is desirable
Due to the nature of this position you need to be 18 years of age or above
