Croydon / South-East London | Part-time (14 hours per week) | £9,573.20 per annum
Are you confident dealing with emergencies and working independently while maintaining a warm, professional presence? If so, Quo Vadis Trust (QVT) is looking for a reliable and committed Concierge to join our team.
The Role
As Concierge, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our 24-hour supported housing scheme is safe, secure, and welcoming for our clients and visitors. You’ll carry out regular checks, respond to incidents, and offer hands-on help with day-to-day upkeep. This part-time position includes day shifts and occasional night shifts as per a rota.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a calm, professional welcome to all clients and visitors
• Carry out fire alarm tests and follow emergency procedures
• Support clients in maintaining tenancies and a safe living environment
• Perform health & safety checks and report issues to management
• Complete light cleaning, minor repairs, and support clients during moves
• Record accurate notes on our client management system
• Respond professionally to incidents, using de-escalation techniques when needed
• Work closely with the wider QVT team and external agencies
• Travel to other QVT locations as required.

Quo Vadis Trust is a specialist housing charity supporting adults living with mental health needs in South-East London. We provide housing and personalised support for around 200 clients, helping each person to live as independently as possible in a safe, supportive environment.

• Friendly, reliable and professional in their approach
• Comfortable working alone or as part of a team
• Patient, resilient and able to stay calm in a crisis
• Computer literate with good written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible, with the willingness to work unsociable hours when needed
Essential:
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience using client management databases
• Awareness of mental health conditions and housing-related issues
