The Role
We’re looking for a Concierge to join our team at Quo Vadis Trust, working in our supported housing services across Croydon and South-East London. This role involves providing tenancy sustainment support, managing safety and cleanliness, and being a reliable and supportive presence for our clients.
You’ll need to be flexible, as shifts may include days or nights depending on the rota. We offer:
• 30-hour contract (£20,514 per annum) or 40-hour contract (£27,352 per annum) for night shifts (£13.15 per hour)
• 35-hour day shift contract (£23,933 per annum), with occasional night shifts as needed
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a warm and professional welcome to clients and visitors
• Respond effectively to emergencies and incidents, following QVT policies
• Conduct fire alarm tests and health and safety checks
• Assist with moves in and out, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of properties
• Monitor and report maintenance needs
• Keep accurate records using QVT’s client management system (‘Inform’)
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and external agencies
• Follow safeguarding procedures and attend training sessions
• Occasionally travel to other QVT schemes

The Person
We’re looking for someone who:
• Is confident, reliable and calm under pressure
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Has good communication and IT skills
• Understands issues around mental health, homelessness or substance misuse (desirable)
• Has a caring attitude and is respectful of others’ backgrounds
• Is flexible to work unsociable hours on a rota
• Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Is willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
