Summary
Night Care Assistant – Towy Castle Care Home
Location: Carmarthen
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 22:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Pattern: 3 nights on, 3 nights off (includes weekends and public holidays)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

With over 35 years of care behind us, we offer high-quality residential and dementia support in a homely setting full of charm and character. Your Role
As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our residents through the quietest hours of the day, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and cared for.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Supporting residents with evening and night-time routines
Providing emotional reassurance and companionship
Monitoring residents’ well-being and promptly reporting concerns
Maintaining a clean, safe, and calm environment overnight
What We’re Looking For
We welcome individuals who are:
Reliable, patient, and calm under pressure
Adaptable to residents' changing needs
Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Previous experience supporting residents with dementia (preferrable)
Dependable, proactive, and a great team player
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
Strong communication and time management skills
Previous experience is helpful, but not essential.
Full training will be provided—you just need the right attitude and a genuine desire to care for others.
