Location: Carmarthen
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Hours: 24.5 per week | Shifts: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM | 3 on, 3 off (includes weekends & public holidays)

About Towy Castle
Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home, set in three acres of beautiful gardens overlooking the Towy estuary. With over 35 years of trusted service, we provide high-quality support to older adults, including those living with dementia, in a warm and respectful environment where every individual is valued.
Your Role
As a Morning Care Assistant, you’ll help residents begin their day in a way that’s safe, positive, and person-centred.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
Supporting mobility and safe transfers
Helping with breakfast and morning mealtime routines
Providing emotional reassurance and a friendly, respectful presence
Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any changes
Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
What We’re Looking For
A genuinely caring, compassionate, and patient approach
Reliable, committed, and professional attitude
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Calm and adaptable under pressure
Willingness to work on a rolling rota including weekends and public holidays
Experience in care is preferred but not essential
