Ward Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Manager on Melissa ward, an Adult Inpatient Female ward at Oleaster Centre in Edgbaston.

The successful candidate should be a qualified Registered Nurse (RMN) and have significant experience at Band 6 or above within Acute setting.

The candidate should be able to participate with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct involvement in patient care. You will also be expected to be able to manage and direct the delivery of clinical services within the unit, ensuring it complies with the statutory regulations, current legislation and meet the quality standards.

The candidate must have proven leadership skills and clinical excellence as you will need to provide leadership and mentoring and will act as a positive role model for junior staff in a manner that positively reflects the philosophy of the service and the values of the organisation. You will be responsible for managing, directing and leading the nursing team.

In your role you will receive support and supervision from the Clinical Nurse Manager to develop your practice further.
