Sodexo is seeking an experienced and driven Technical Services Lead to oversee the operational and commercial delivery of Hard FM services at a high-profile pharmaceutical site in Kinsale. This is a pivotal role requiring a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and strong leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead all aspects of technical and engineering maintenance across the site, ensuring compliance with all statutory and legislative standards.
- Manage a team of engineering professionals, supporting development, morale, and performance.
- Drive a safe, efficient maintenance operation, managing the Permit to Work system and acting as an Authorised Person.
- Ensure full delivery of planned and reactive maintenance (PPMs/RPMs), helpdesk services, and project support.
- Oversee the commercial management of the contract, ensuring KPIs, SLAs and profitability targets are met.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA), safety investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement site energy strategies and support innovation in service delivery.
What You'll Bring
- A degree in Engineering or a BIFM Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in technical maintenance, ideally within pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing
- Proven leadership of maintenance teams in critical environments
- In-depth knowledge of building services, plant engineering, and water hygiene compliance
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) and strong analytical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, organisational, and customer-facing skills
- Thorough understanding of H&S, statutory compliance, and audit readiness
