Crynodeb
As a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice with Little Learners you will;
Follow all health and safety and safeguarding policies and procedures.
Care for children's personal care needs, support with snack and meal times.
Support the setting up and implementing of activities linking to the EYFS and supporting planning, observations and assessments of a small group of key children.
Work in partnership with colleagues and parents and carers.
Attend staff meetings and training as required.
This role can be a term time position with school holidays. Monday - Friday times between 8-4 Total of 30 hours a week.
Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Little Learners Day Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Little Learners Day Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise.
Qualifications required
Preference of Level 2 EYP qualification.
Prefer GCSE Maths & English or functional skill but happy to support as part of the apprenticeship.
