Working Arrangement: Hybrid working, must be on site Tuesday - Thursday

The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking an experienced Senior Administrator/ Personal Assistant to support a Senior Housing Manager.
You will be providing comprehensive administrative and personal assistant support to senior members of our leadership team. You’ll be responsible for managing busy diaries, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Ideally you will be an experienced executive assistant, who understands complex organisations. Housing experience is desirable and large public sector experience is essential
Key Responsibilities
Diary and inbox management
To set up some rules, so that the emails are prioritised, sectioned and managed
Efficiently manage complex diaries, appointments, and schedules
Organise meetings, including preparation of agendas, minute-taking, and follow-up actions
Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements as required
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Provide high-level administrative support, including document preparation and data management
What the client is looking for:
Experienced executive assistant with a good understanding of complex organisations
Housing experience is desirable
Experience of working in a large public sector organisation
Previous experience of coordinating meetings and taking minutes
Ability to propose changes to ensure team are working effectively
Previous experience of managing busy diaries and scheduling appointments
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Experienced in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
