Job Title: Leasehold Services Manager

Pay rate: £23.71 per hour PAYE
A Driving licence and access to a car is required for this role.
The role:
We are looking for someone to join the Neighbourhood Management Team as a Right to Buy and Leasehold Officer within the Housing Services department.
You will manage and process Right to Buy sale applications, provide tenant guidance, prepare legal documents, lease agreements and service charge estimates and oversee Section 20 consultations for any qualifying works.
Additionally, you will arrange repairs and maintenance in accordance with tenancy agreements, handle arrears, advise on post-sale leasehold management including lease extensions, and maintain accurate leaseholder records.
You will need experience in Right to Buy, leasehold or housing management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will need to be confident working with multiple stakeholders including leaseholders, tenants, Housing staff, other GBC departments (Finance, Legal etc.) and external organisations such as solicitors, mortgage companies and contractors.
What the client is looking for:
Experience in Right to Buy, leasehold property, or housing management with strong knowledge of leasehold law and housing legislation
Excellent numerical skills
Clear and concise communication, including accurate record-keeping and formal letter writing
Strong customer service skills and ability to explain complex processes simply
Logical problem-solving with good judgment and discretion
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail as understanding and using complex financial information is required
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Housing Management systems
Full driving licence and access to a car for site visits and meetings
Availability to attend evening meetings when needed
